Verdict

A very winnable looking maiden hurdle in which only a couple of horses can be realistically considered. On Flat form in Germany for Christian Von Der Recke, Shadow Sadness is the standout performer. He was well supported on his second timber start for Oliver Greenall at Worcester last month, but hit the deck at the third last hurdle when bang in contention. Therefore, we'll slightly favour the Tim Easterby-trained ICEFALL who although essentially moderate on the Flat (60-rated) looks to be slowly getting to grips with hurdling and could prove capable of winning a race as weak as this contest.
  1. Icefall
  2. Shadow Sadness
  3. Four Kingdoms
