Doubts can be cast about most of these as the likes of Restive, Lopes Dancer, and Lopes Dancer all seem to have lost their way just now. Even VISION CLEAR needs to prove his Beverley win wasn't just a one-off performance. However, the gelding does seem to be on an upward curve at present and, as such, is given the benefit of the doubt.
