Verdict

TOUCH BASE has shown ability before winning a maiden at Downpatrick last month, where he displayed a good attitude and determination to get his success. He looks capable of following up now sent handicapping for the first time with Mark Walsh staying on board. Tintown Robin ran well here earlier in the summer and could make the frame with a repeat, while there's a hope that the winner that day, Coolfighter, might be revived from some poor recent efforts now coming back here. Glendine River likes it here and is dropped 3lb after running in a competitive Galway heat.
