Verdict

BEATBOXER made a big impression at Sandown first time out and John Gosden and Frankie Dettori haven't come this far on a Friday night for an ordinary Novice Stakes (pair's only runner) unless they have a horse of considerable ability and this may be part of an already drawn out plan for this potential high-class colt. Those with form are likely to struggle to match the likely hot favourite so the biggest threat could be posed by a debutant and Kadar, an expensive colt by the same sire as Beatboxer could prove the biggest threat. Karl Burke's two-year-old is exceptionally well bred. Summer Moon ran well on debut and is one who will hope to give the favourite a run for his money.
