A thoroughly competitive feature race in which the Hugo Palmer-trained Unforgetable Filly is the class act. However, it's difficult to know exactly what to make of her at present with the application of first-time blinkers setting the alarm bells ringing. Clon Coulis produced a career best effort when bolting up in the Pipalong Stakes at Pontefract, so it'll be interesting to see if she's capable of backing up in a stronger contest. However, the pair of lightly raced, progressive fillies Preening and BESHAAYIR are preferred. The selection faces a big step up in grade, but couldn't have been any more impressive in winning a Class 3 C&D handicap recently.
