Verdict

The decision to aim APPLE'S JADE at this should be rewarded with back-to-back wins for the exceptional Gigginstown mare. Her efforts so far this term strongly suggest she has progressed again as a six-year-old and she relishes a scrap. Jer's Girl got within 2L of the selection at Navan earlier this season and was going sweetly in this race a year ago before coming down. She can run into the money with a clear round. La Bague Au Roi beat her over an extended 3m at Kempton in November and Warren Greatrex's versatile performer should give another bold account. Impressive chaser Benie Des Dieux reverts to hurdles for a yard that has bossed this race and may go well
