Colt Lightning (5/1), Ben Arthur (11/2), Phoebus Lescribaa (6/1), Arden Denis (13/2), Sackett (8/1), Tara Well (8/1), Eaton Miller (14/1), Samson's Reach (14/1), Way Of The World (16/1), Jimmy Bell (16/1), Taken By Force (25/1), Gi Jayne (25/1), Polo The Mumm (25/1), Pistol Shoot (25/1)

Verdict

This should be run at a solid pace, with two or three potential front runners. Of those, Sackett makes a bit of appeal if he can pull out a bit more when the taps are turned on late, but it might be set up for something to travel into this from off the pace. On that, a chance is taken on JIMMY BELL, who has performed with credit in a couple of starts here and looks well enough handicapped to take a hand. Phoebus Lescribaa has some improvement in him and can get involved, as can Eaton Miller , another who we've not seen the best of yet. Samson's Reach is another to consider in a tricky opener.
  1. Jimmy Bell
  2. Phoebus Lescribaa
  3. Sackett
