Verdict

A race not exactly brimming with progressive types and quite a few are hard to trust such as Alpha Tauri and Tellovoi although neither are easily written off as they are both C&D winners. Bold Spirit acts well here but looks a little high in the handicap with the jury out on a couple that disappointed here on Tuesday in Chaucer’s Tale and Captain Bob. ESSENTIAL returns to handicaps and he may well have run into a useful type on this surface last time; he’s given the vote in this weak handicap.
  1. Essential
  2. Bold Spirit
  3. Chaucer's Tale
