Verdict

There aren't too many here who you can make a case for but PITON PETE probably makes the most compelling case as the only runner to get close to winning over hurdles so far with his narrow defeat at Huntingdon. Battle Of Ideas is the main danger having run well behind a useful Paul Nicholls novice last time out. Hatchet Jack's run last time was a good one but the drop in trip by nearly 6f is a concern.
  1. Piton Pete
  2. Battle Of Ideas
  3. Hatchet Jack
