Verdict

BREATHOFFRESHAIR is a fine stamp of a horse, and has the appearance of a rapidly improving animal. He fended off Kroy when winning over 7f here earlier in the month, but looked even stronger still when dropped back to this trip in an apprentices handicap last Friday. He escapes a penalty for that very striking success, and has the able Joe Fanning in the saddle tonight as he makes a swift return to action still well ahead of his current handicap mark of just 53. He rates by far as the best bet on the card, and it will be a major surprise if he fails to land the hat-trick. Other horses to consider for the places include the returning Yarmouth winner Yorkshire Rover (stable debut), course 5f winner Little Miss Lola, Kroy, and at bigger prices the increasingly well handicapped pair Santafiora and Maldonado.
