Verdict

A maiden in all bar name, with just the sole previous winner (London Grammar) in the line up, and a very weak and most unappealing contest overall. Both Bird For Life and SPIRITOFEDINBURGH have at least shown reasonable course form in fairly similar low grade contests lately, with preference being for the Brendan Powell trained in-mate, in the hope that this extra furlong allows him to build upon his latest 1¾L third to Raashdy.
