Verdict

MAYASEEN is the filly of most interest in the opening contest. This Hugo Palmer trained debutant cost €200,000 as a yearling, but as a half-sister to the high class Covert Love, that's hardly a surprise. Her talented relation tasted Group 1 success at The Curragh (Irish Oaks) and at Longchamp (Prix De L'opera) during an illustrious seven race career. The opposition she faces tonight could've plausibly been much more taxing, but the chief threat is likely to come from the once raced Godolphin owned filly Espadrille. She cost a pretty penny herself (800,000 gns), and is expected to be much sharper and stronger for the benefit of her recent debut on turf at Nottingham.
  1. Mayaseen
  2. Espadrille
  3. Dance Me
