Verdict

A tester for punters to end the night, with plenty having questions to answer. Haldaw has course form, albeit from a weak maiden, and the filly produced an improved showing at Chelmsford recently to be runner-up, making her an interesting contender here. Filament Of Gold does his best work at this track and is on his previous winning mark if able to bounce back to form while returning Pensax Lady also bears a market check at a track she likes. Arrowzone was too keen on debut for this yard last time but is attractively weighted now down in trip however the same applies to MOLTEN LAVA. He didn't get home at Newcastle on first start for Philip Kirby but is rated 5lb lower than when running a sound race here in August over 1m½f. With new headgear potentially boosting his claim, he's worth a shot in the finale.
  1. Molten Lava
  2. Haldaw
  3. Arrowzone
