Eiri Na Casca (4/1), Wee Tiger (6/1), Antimatter (7/1), Spancil Hill (7/1), Kilganer Queen (8/1), Perfect Leader (9/1), Billy De Kid (12/1), Miss Mcilroy (12/1), Cnoc Na Sioga (14/1), Northern Emperor (20/1), Ashjan (20/1), Horsenjockey (25/1), Barney King (25/1), Generous Guest (25/1)

Verdict

The old boy, Barney King, second of 16, beaten 1L here a year ago, will no doubt make the running here, with Kilganger Queen, Wee Tiger and Miss McIlroy following in behind. Ashjan, won a Downpatrick handicap hurdle in June and Kilganger Queen, quick return and tongue-tie still on will suit, should be on the shortlist, but preference is for EIRI NA CASCA, who has track, distance and size of field conditions in his favour.
  1. Eiri Na Casca
  2. Kilganer Queen
  3. Ashjan
