Verdict

It is hard to know what to make of Nathan's two runs for Simon Crisford as the performances are poles apart. It can be considered the soft ground was to blame last time, but his dam acted on such conditions and there may be more to the poor showing. Warm Oasis is an expensive newcomer but CALIBRATION has to be considered the most likely winner. Trainer Martyn Meade has a fine record here and the extra quarter-mile should be helpful. His second to Solomon's Bay is the outstanding piece of form for this, but one which may make him an unattractive proposition if the odds are too short.
  1. Calibration
  2. Nathan
  3. Warm Oasis
