Verdict

A race in which many of the runners are seemingly out of form with the exception of a couple of horses. Therefore, despite concerns about rising marks, this pair should form the focus of our attentions. Makhfar has shown a consistent level of form over the extended mile at Wolverhampton, but importantly also has proved himself at this track (fourth here in April). However, DANGEROUS ENDS can boast a prefect two from two over C&D and returns to this Sunbury venue with a plausible excuse for his latest effort (back from a break). He needs a career best from a mark of 63 (8lb higher than his last winning mark), but this is far from a strong race, and he might just prove good enough.
  1. Dangerous Ends
  2. Makhfar
  3. Rightway
