Verdict

This could well be a race worth taking note of as it contains some improving types mixed in with some improvers. The Michael Bell yard have had a good week already landing the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot and their Winston C (for the Gold Cup winning owners) looks to be one of the obvious improvers. Near Kettering and Carigrad are two others that you could pop into that category with the last named coming from a yard that have won this for the past two years. Paddy A and Monticello are solid performers but all of them may struggle to contain the top weight WEEKENDER from another Royal Ascot winning yard who looks as though he still has plenty of progress left in him.
