Verdict

EATON HILL beat an idling Mount Mews at Wetherby but still had a useful sort back in fourth who won next time. He ran into two very nice horses next time before running poorly on soft ground . This looks a lot easier than those Wetherby races and his main rivals have questions to answer. Thisonetime was readily outpointed at Sedgefield in midweek in a race where she had little chance at the weights. She still looks a few pounds short but cheekpieces now go on. Her best form has been on heavy and it remains to be seen if she can be as effective on this surface. Gray Day was well beaten on bad ground at Sedgefield last time. A previous win at Bangor gives him obvious claims if in the same shape here. His yard are now in better form following a Bangor double on Saturday.
