Early Retirement (15/8), Good Man Hughie (5/1), Texas Forever (11/2), Dothraki Raider (8/1), Cor Wot An Apple (11/1), Chilli Romance (11/1), French Seventyfive (12/1), Uncle Percy (12/1), Baldadash (14/1), Autum Rain (14/1), Silent Warrior (14/1), Scartare (14/1), Dalton Glance (18/1), Sauvignon (25/1), Quigley Court (33/1)

Verdict

There are several options that you could take here in another competitive handicap and a few that could well be market movers on their handicap debuts. Chief among those would be Sauvignon would has shown little so far but comes from a top yard and handicaps may well see her in a better light. The same comment could be levelled at Uncle Percy who moves up in trip on his first try in a handicap. Early Retirement will appreciate this easier test and it will be interesting to see if Good Man Hughie can handle the quicker ground as he attempts to follow-up his well backed success last time out. It’s interesting that connections gave DOTHRAKI RAIDER a break after he landed a gamble for them on handicap debut not wanting to run him under a penalty and letting the handicapper do his work. That could mean that they still feel he has something in hand off this mark and that he remains one to be keep onside.
  1. Dothraki Raider
  2. Uncle Percy
  3. Early Retirement
