Verdict

Just a small field bumper to conclude the card and the conundrum is, as with a lot of these races, whether the experience of some will be able to hold off the potential of others. The experience here comes in the shape of both Dunly and GOLDEN JEFFREY. The latter being a rare runner under the jumps code for Mark Johnston who showed up well on his debut, in what looked a good race, so he gets the nod over his twice-raced rival Dunly. Trigger Nichol represents the unraced brigade and with his stable having such a good record at the track it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him make a good fist of this on debut. 1. Golden Jeffrey 2. Trigger Nichol 3. Dunly
