Verdict

There appears to be plenty depth to this finale, with no less than nine previous winners in the line-up. The champion trainer has two runners and both appear to hold strong claims. Miss Sapphire justified strong confidence to score on debut at Limerick and should have more to come but REDHOTFILLYPEPPERS was an expensive purchase and scored with consummate ease at Punchestown on New Year's Eve. He can continue the winning thread now. One First Cut left a good impression when scoring at Thurles on debut and can get involved in this while Fayonagh was a notable improver in winning at Naas last time and has subsequently joined a powerful trainer. The newcomers will need to be well above average to have a say, with Ratoute Yutty one to look out for the in betting. 1. Redhotfillypeppers 2. Miss Sapphire 3. One First Cut
