Verdict

A weak novice hurdle with quite a few handicap debuts, it will be interesting to see how those runners perform off their opening marks. Of those who have run in handicaps before, however, STEEL NATIVE could be able to overcome top weight. His fourth last time out at Ffos Las is some of the better form on offer, and we know he'll handle some cut in the ground. He is taken to see off Only A Tipple, who could be worth chancing for a new yard after a break, and El Tiburon, who may well improve for the first time headgear. 1. Steel Native 2. Only A Tipple 3. El Tiburon
