More effective on turf than he is on AW and still above his last winning mark on turf. Respectable effort at Catterick last time when just beaten 1L and yard do well here but likely to find a couple too good again.

Has only won once in 22 starts since his debut. Has returned in good form this year with three placed efforts and likely to be more to come for a yard that do well with these types; ought to go well with the ground in his favour.

A Group 3 winner in his heyday and two time C&D winner. Regressing a little with age no major surprise but in good form of late and looks well-handicapped at present. Likely to get a pace to aim at and should go well.

Finally off the mark with a 5L success at Wolverhampton in January and won again at Chelmsford in February. Disappointed last time and yet to win on turf; looks set to struggle from his career high handicap mark.

Yet to win for this yard but produced a better performance last time out when fourth of 10 over C&D. 6lb below his last winning mark now and gets the assistance of a talented apprentice. Leading contender.

Five of his six turf wins have come at Brighton and while running well in defeat of late, he would prefer more cut in the ground than what's likely here. Others preferred.

Ended a lengthy losing run at Lingfield in February but largely been out of form since and has a habit of missing the break. Looks reliant on first-time hood working the oracle.

In good form of late and only up 4lb for his win at Brighton in April. Has done most of his winning on undulating tracks and not beaten far on either his last two starts. Still feasibly handicapped on old form and should get a decent pace to aim at.
