He needs to prove his worth on the AW, and is 6lb higher than when beating subsequent scorer Jonnysimpson at Bath last month, so there might be a squeak of value in taking him on. Magic Pulse has left Ann Duffield since a much improved effort latest, and could be thereabouts on debut for David Griffiths, but the speculative play is BLESSED TO EMPRESS. She is a C&D winner in May, who was denied a clear run at Lingfield on her most recent start, and her trainer has her string in excellent order at present.
