Pulled up on his sole start in an Irish point-to-point in May, but this Scorpion gelding has found his way to a stronger stable. A half-brother to 2m7f chase winner Glenwood Prince and bumper/2m hurdle winner Royal Moll. Rules debut.
Cherokee Prince371
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-0| J: B S Hughes| T: R O'Leary| BF
€35,000 three-year-old by Westerner, who finished a never nearer 10½L fifth to Mr One More in this contest in 2016 (good). Off since, but runners from this stable always merit close market inspection in bumpers, and so could easily be involved.
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-0| J: Tom Broughton| T: N Kent
Finished a distant last of ten to Settie Hill on debut at Market Rasen in April (2m+ good), and needs to settle better in order to show any marked improvement.
Unraced fourth foal by Sulamani out of Silken Pearls. A half-brother to 2m7f-3m hurdle winner Nordic Nymph, and 2m3f-3m hurdle and chase winner Brave Buck. Better with time, distance and experience.
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-0| J: W T Kennedy| T: S-J Davies
By Rip Van Winkle, and cost €280,000 as a yearling, but didn't see any racecourse action on the Flat. No promise in a couple of bumpers for previous trainer David Loder, so couldn't be recommended until he demonstrates some ability.
Unraced €57,000 three-year-old, third foal, by Getaway out of an unraced Saddler's Hall mare (Local Hall). She was a half-sister to the fairly useful 2m hurdle/chase winner Charlton Kings, which in part explains the rather costly price tag.
Unraced Alkaadhem gelding out of Pohutakawa who cost a mere €4,600 as a foal in comparison to a whopping €55,000 as a three-year-old. Eighth foal who is a half-brother to bumper/hurdles and chase winner Carthlawn, and represents high profile owners.
Johnny Yuma171
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-0| J: Benjamin Poste| T: Katy Price
A winner at the third time of asking in point-to-points, and had earlier form with the exciting recent Exeter winner Onefortheroadtom. His trainer saddled a recent bumper winner, so this rules newcomer is worthy of consideration at the very least.
Nestor Park
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-0| J: D A Jacob| T: B Pauling
Unraced gelding by Walk In The Park out of the French 1m7f-2m2f hurdle and chase winner Cila. Cost €70,000 as a three-year-old, and his trainer was amongst the winners in bumpers last week, so of definite interest if the market vibes are positive.
Broke Awayh163
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-7| J: James Bowen| T: Alexandra Dunn
Showed minor signs of ability in Ireland for Mags Mullins, but very moderate on UK and stable debut at Newton Abbot in August (2m1f good), and much more is required in this stronger contest. Wears the first time hood.

Nestor Park (6/5), Cherokee Prince (11/8), I'd Better Go Now (10/1), Euxton Lane (14/1), Ballygomartin (16/1), Johnny Yuma (20/1), Copper Coin (25/1), Broke Away (66/1), Electoral (80/1), Ciboir (100/1)

The market should prove informative in Division 2 of the bumper, with Paul and Clare Rooney holding another obvious winning chance with the Charlie Longsdon trained newcomer I'd Better Go Now, and Ben Pauling (saddled a pair of bumper winners last week) responsible for the €70,000 French bred newcomer Nestor Park. Cherokee Prince has been off the track for twelve months, but he's worth keeping an eye on in the market, with his trainer always feared in these type of contests, whilst both Copper Coin and Euxton Lane look capable of better with time and experience on their side. Therefore, a real chance is taken on the rules newcomer JOHNNY YUMA. His trainer Katy Price saddled a bumper winner at Stratford recently, and this former Irish pointer was beaten just 5L by the exciting (now) Harry Fry trained Onefortheroadtom at Oldcastle in April, so could well outperform his projected odds for much less 'fashionable' connections.
  1. Johnny Yuma
  2. Nestor Park
  3. I'd Better Go Now
