Off time: 19:10  |   Winning time: 58.89s
Weighed In
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2  |  J: Jack Mitchell |  T: S Dow

Beaten 13L when making his debut over an extended 6f at Newbury (good) just over two weeks ago. Showed up well for a long way on that occasion and the drop in trip here should suit.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2  |  J: James Doyle |  T: E A L Dunlop|  OR: 75|  BF

Run well in three starts so far including when beaten a head over 5f at Windsor (good-to-firm) last time out. Had finished third in a similar contest on his previous start and likely to prove hard to beat in this.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2  |  J: Tom Marquand |  T: R Hannon

Stepped up on his Bath (firm) debut when finishing 1L third over 5f at Windsor (good-to-firm) last time out. Finished behind Indian Warrior on that occasion and an interesting runner in this contest.

Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11  |  J: S W Kelly |  T: R Hughes

Ran well on the AW over 6f here when making her debut in May. Finished 4L fourth on that occasion and subsequent soft ground defeat at Chepstow probably came too soon. More needed to take this.

Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11  |  J: David Probert |  T: C A Dwyer

Beaten 28L over 6f at Yarmouth (good-to-firm) when making her debut last month. Yard in good form at present (3/9) but needs to step up on that effort if she's to break her maiden today.

Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11  |  J: Oisin Murphy |  T: W J Haggas

Unraced daughter of Scat Daddy. Cost connections £90,000 as a yearling last August and sire is a leading source of speedy juveniles. Dam placed in Graded stakes as a two-year-old and worth a check in the market on her debut in this.

Indian Warrior (10/11), Zalshah (10/3), Special Purpose (7/2), Corazon Espinado (14/1), Inuk (20/1), Rock On Baileys (25/1)

INDIAN WARRIOR sets the standard in this opening contest and he can register a first victory at the fourth time of asking. The selection was headed late on having led a furlong out at Windsor last time and can get the better of the speedily bred newcomer Special Purpose who represents a yard who can boast a 25% strike-rate with their two-year-old's this season (6/24). Zalshah finished behind the selection last time out and can claim third today.
