Half-brother to Make It Up, a four time winner over 7f for Andrew Balding. April is a good month to follow the yard's three-year-olds but they have not enjoyed any success in this race recently.

€145,000 purchase as a yearling. First foal of a dam who was a winner over 1m4f. Stable usually have winners at this meeting and very much one to note in the market.

€78,000 buy representing a yard that have had success at this fixture in recent years and which had a newcomer finish second at 20/1 a few days ago.

Fetched 375,000 guineas as a foal. Gelded son of Dubawi and a half-brother to a minor winner. Yard sent out a newcomer to win at Leicester on Friday and are 6-24 with their three-year-olds around here.

Improved from a quiet debut when staying on to take fourth last time. Both races looked less competitive than this and yard are 0-27 with their three-year-olds around here in recent seasons.

Cheap purchase who was last of five on his Wolverhampton debut two weeks ago. Looks up against it with some classy horses in opposition.

Looks the clear pick on form based on his efforts in two back end maidens. Did not find that much in a finish and a slight concern that cheekpieces are now tried. Rider is 69-231 for the trainer and a level stakes profit of 54 points. Yard have had a quiet month but had a maiden winner on Friday.

Bought for 1110,000 guineas as a yearling out of a dam whose first four foals have all won. Yard have a good record with their three-year-olds at this fixture. Form of debut third is not working out, but well backed that day so obviously capable of a lot better.

Has gone off at big prices in a couple of maidens. Qualifies for handicaps after this and will be more of a force in that sphere.

Verdict

There are some interesting newcomers from big yards lining up for this. Breaking Bread, Bristol Missile and Comrade Conrad are all to be noted in the market, whilst the most expensive debutante, Key Bid, appears to his yard's second string. Radjash, shaped well in a couple of maidens towards the end of last season when he failed to produce as much as he promised in a finish and cheekpieces are now tried. Fearing he may not be that straightforward MISTRESS QUICKLY may prove a better option. Her form is not as strong as Radjash but she attracted strong support before her debut and comes from a family full of winners. The yard have a good record in April with their three-year-olds and usually grab a winner at this fixture.
  1. Mistress Quickly
  2. Radjash
  3. Bristol Missile
