Richard Fahey guides us through his team for Haydock and Lingfield

A busy Sunday for our columnist with runners at Haydock and Lingfield. Check out his thoughts on them all.

1.30 Haydock – Let Her Loose

This looks a very competitive race and there are some very progressive horses in there. My filly has done well over the winter, I’m pleased with her, and while I’d have liked to have found an easier starting point she’s getting a lot of weight from some of them. She’ll progress herself too.

2.15 Lingfield – Lexington Warfare

If he stays I think he’ll run a very big race. He’s fit and training very well but there’s just a question mark over the ten furlongs in the back of my mind.

4.00 Lingfield – Sir Havelock

He’s quite a laidback horse and hard to sum up at home, you don’t really know where you are with him. He ran alright on slow ground once and should stay this far but he’s still learning his trade.

5.10 Lingfield – Requinto Dawn

He ran ok at Newcastle the other day, we were pleased enough with him there. If that’s good enough to win this then great. He came out of the race in good shape.

5.35 Haydock – Delph Crescent

He proved a bit disappointing but back at ten furlongs and with rain around it might just suit him. There don’t seem many progressive types in there and he definitely has a chance on his best form.

5.45 Lingfield – Lady Celia

She’s a sister to Fairy Stories who did well for us. She doesn’t show a lot at home but neither did her sister and I hope she can progress like that filly did. She needs to step up to win this.

5.45 Lingfield – Street Life

He was really progressing before lockdown and isn’t the sort of horse who will ever win by too far which helps. I’d have thought he’ll just about be favourite in this and deservedly so.

6.10 Hayock – International Lion

He needs rain to help him here and should stay ten furlongs alright. I wouldn’t want to run him if it was on the quick side though.
