On Wednesday evening's all-graded card from Romford, Thats Your Lot (T1) is fancied to put some recent below-par efforts behind him in the curtain raiser at 6.38.

Martyn Wiley's charge has fluffed the start on his last couple of runs but when he gets his act together, he is a force to be reckoned with at this A2 level. This son of Magical Bale was just touched off when showing good speed throughout in a 24.19 (calculated) defeat last month and a reproduction of that clock would see him go close tonight.

Leaha Patie (T2) has always shaped as though a test of stamina would be right up his street, and so it proved as he stayed on strongly to register his first success over the 575m trip in an S4 on 30 March. He has run creditably in better company subsequently and, with a return to more suitable opposition in the 9.21, he looks set to resume winning ways.

In a wide-open A1 at 8.09, Bubbly Star (T2) has been knocking at the door without much luck in trying to pick up the pacesetters recently. With a fast trapper on her inner, Paul Young's bitch can get a decent tow into the race up the rails and, if steering clear of any trouble, she has all the credentials to be right there at the business end.
