Man Utd v Southampton

Well, well, well, looks like Ole's at the wheel of a juggernaut as his side have come flying out of the restart to become the first top flight team since Liverpool in 1987 to win four straight games by three goals or more.

Listen, the fixture list hasn't been the hardest, and beating Sheffield United, Brighton, Bournemouth and Aston Villa is nothing to write home about, but the hype train has already left the station and the Red Devils are being backed off the boards for next year's title.

That may be a little premature, but you can't help but be impressed with the firepower they've got now, with the trio of Martial, Rashford and Greenwood outscoring Salah, Firmino and Mane currently 56-54. This, though, represents a proper test even if their opposition does sit 14 points below them.

Bruno Fernandes has matched Micky Quinn's Premier League record of 13 goal involvments in his first 10 games, and you wouldn't be surprised if he scored again (7/5) or laid on an assist (10/11) yet again. It'll have to be a stonewall penalty if he's to get another chance from 12 yards you'd expect, given the nature of their pen at Villa.

For all his incredible ability, Fernandes has already been a touch theatrical in winning a few penalties now this season, if you include the one rightly ruled out by VAR at Spurs, and he needs to be careful not to get a reputation - as they stick.

Saints are a crack outfit away from home, with only the top three winning more games on the road. They've not been great against the big boys though - winning just one of their last 23 against the traditional 'big six' but the lack of 78,000 fans at Old Trafford doesn't half make a difference.

The 8/1 on an away win will tempt many given how Ralph Hasenhuttl's side play, while even the draw looks a decent price as United are unbackable at 2/7.

In Danny Ings Southampton have a huge scoring talent of their own - he's the best player in the league to back as first goalscorer, as he's done that in nine Premier League games this season already, but you can still get 6/1 on him opening the scoring Monday night.

Southampton are being undervalued here, and with Ings their main man I fancy him to get yet another goal make it 20 for the season. There are plenty of scoring options for United but Ings looks the value considering his form - plus I'm hoping he's on the pens after James Ward-Prowse missed one at Everton.

You would expect United to have too much in the end, but it could be a bit closer than many expect, and what I do expect is Hasenhuttl's side to be full of energy and keep going right until the end. They can at least bag a goal.

Prediction: Man Utd 2-1 Southampton (Sky Bet odds: 8/1)

Best bets: Man Utd to beat Southampton & both teams to score at 19/10

Danny Ings to score anytime at 5/2
