Gibraltar Darts Trophy: Draw, schedule, results & odds

The fifth event of the 2017 European Tour season was the Gibraltar Darts Trophy (May 12-14) but defending champion Michael van Gerwen opted against taking part as focused on his preparations for the Premier League Darts play-offs.

Recent European Darts Grand Prix champion Peter Wright headlined the 48-man field and started as hot favourite to land his eighth tournament title of the season - but he was defeated by eventual winner Michael Smith.

Gibraltar Darts Trophy Pre-Tournament Odds

Peter Wright is unsurprisingly favourite for glory at 2/1 with Sky Bet as he bids for a fourth European Tour title of the season but Dave Chisnall will certainly have his backers at 6/1 following a superb recent run in the Premier League.

Mensur Suljovic is next in the running at 12/1 ahead of James Wade at 14/1.
